ITEM DETAIL

“Front DOOR”

”Front DOOR” is a photo book by Curtis Kulig, who is based in NY.

Curtis Kulig’s iconic personal message, “Love Me,” appears throughout the city, and people who see it often take it in with hope and positivity. What started as a simple message has grown into a movement celebrating love, happiness, and universal acceptance.

His work goes beyond commissioned design projects for brands like Cartier, Nike, and Pendleton, spanning paintings, sculptures, and various other mediums.

Front DOOR is a collection of Kulig’s door buzzer images at his studio on Kenmare Street in Soho in New York City from 2016 to 2021.

With thousands of images collected over 5 years of friends, famous faces, strangers, messengers and solicitors, his intimate edit transforms the act of surveillance into a moment of authentic human connection capturing us in the act of buzzing all in hopes of being let in.
